Nine Star Ki (九星気学, Kyusei Kigaku in Japanese) draws on one of the most ancient streams of Chinese cosmological thought — the tradition of the I Ching (易經), the Book of Changes, whose roots stretch back to at least 1200 BCE during the Shang dynasty, and perhaps much further.
